We have three houses on the Hermitage Road site, as well as one on Richmond Road.
About
Our main service in Croydon is sited in Upper Norwood, very near Crystal Palace with its range of shops including a Sainsbury supermarket. We have three buildings on site, Canterbury, York and Acorn houses and pleasant communal garden where residents can relax. Each room is self-contained with its own toilet, shower and kitchen area. We have a communal kitchen in York House where people can learn or rediscover cooking skills. Visitors are invariably impressed by the high standard of our accommodation. Our staff are always ready to provide help or support and are present 24 hours a day. Our aim is to provide a safe haven where residents can recover at their own pace in an environment where everyone can benefit from the freedom to spend time as they wish and rebuild their lives and relationships.
Care and Support provided to all of our residents
While residents live at Hermitage Road we will work with them to achieve whatever goals they have set for themselves. People may need help to get straight financially and we can help making applications for the benefits to which they are entitled. They may need encouragement or reassurance having lost confidence after a spell in hospital. Alternatively residents may wish to use their stay with us to prepare to move on to fully independent living or they may feel that they need a longer stay in order to feel more settled and secure. Our aim is always to assist recovery in any way that we can.
